How long does a win last?
I almost walked right by it.

Thursday afternoon, somewhere between wrapping my launch event and dropping off a box of books to a leader I work with, someone asked me when I'm starting the next book.
By Friday it had happened more than a handful of times. I laughed every time, because I know that question. I've asked it of myself after every finish line I've ever crossed.
Hit the number, move the goalpost.
Land the client, look for the next one before the ink dries.
How long does a win last for you?
For years, mine lasted about two minutes.
Max.
We work so hard to arrive, and then we never let ourselves land.
So I'm doing something different with this one.
I'm lingering.
Savouring it.
LANDING IN IT.
Chasing Enough has arrived, and so have I.
I want more, and I haven't stopped wanting it.
Every leader I know wants more.
More intimacy.
More connection.
More success.
More growth.
More impact.
There will be another book, another stage, another ladder and another shiny gold star that goes with it.
But this launch isn't a finish line for me. Not at all.
It's the beginning of living this book out loud and having the conversations it was written to start.
The book is the part you can hold and highlight and tag the pages of.
The part I'm proudest of is who I became writing it.
For a long time, I knew exactly what to do and couldn't make myself do it.
I'd take a few steps forward and fall right back, then wonder how I ended up in the same place again. So I added more: another strategy, another course, another coach telling me what I already knew.
More was how I avoided looking at the truth.
This book made me look.
This week, I got to watch it do that for other people.
"For years, I've been running on empty, telling myself I'd slow down 'after this next thing.' If I don't take a break, I'll break. I'm now actually planning time away from my business, something I never thought I'd do."
“Every chapter so far is resonating with me in terms of where I'm at personally and professionally right now, and the fact that I am trying to get myself unstuck."
“ I can’t put the book down. I feel like you’re reading my thoughts. “
At my launch event, I built a win wall.
The prompt was simple:
What's a win you forgot to celebrate?
The process you committed to.
The hard conversation you finally had the courage to have.
The promise you kept to yourself.
We think celebration has to be earned by something big. So we wait for the grand moment, and in the meantime we keep collecting evidence of everything we're not enough for yet. So we never arrive.
We've normalized living from empty.
We've glamorized the suffering, the grind, the idea that everything has to be hard.
Celebrating a win doesn't shrink the work still ahead.
That list will always be there.
Celebration honors the process.
And the process is what sustainable success runs on: loving the work itself, the part behind the scenes, when nobody is watching and nobody is applauding.
That's what keeps your heart IN.
So stay in it.
Give yourself permission to lead from full.
Notice the language you keep choosing: everything is hard, the hustle, never enough. We wear those words like a badge of honor, and every time we say them, we keep the story going.
I read a passage from Chasing Enough about exactly this: the weight of should.
Be an example of something else. Of plenty. Of enough. Of a moment, and a pause.
When you start appreciating yourself, you radiate it to everyone around you.
Your turn at the win wall
What's a win you moved right past this year?
What process did you commit to, or what hard conversation did you finally have, that nobody clapped for?
Who in your life deserves to hear "I'm proud of you" before they hear "what's next"?
Hit reply and put your win on my wall. I read every one.
Let the win land before you reach for the next one.
Leadership that lasts,
Mandy
