Is this it?

Who I wrote this for, what readers are saying, and the bonuses ending tomorrow.

A week ago, Chasing Enough came out in Canada.

Since then I've stood on stages, sat in living rooms and bookstores, and read messages at midnight from people I've never met, all saying some version of the same thing:

How did you know?

So before the launch bonuses close tomorrow night, I want to tell you who this book is for. You might be one of them.

I wrote this book for three people. I've been every one of them.

The one who can't stop. You hit the number and moved the goalpost before you felt it. Pedal down, all the time. Winning on paper, running on fumes. And nobody checks on you, because you're the one who handles everything.

The one who can't start. You know the move. It's in your drafts, in the notes app on your phone. You've done the courses and hired the coach. You're not out of gas. Full tank, parking brake on.

The one who has already arrived. You built everything you set out to build. You got to the top, took a breath, and thought, huh. Is this it? You didn't run out of gas. You ran out of mountain.

Three different outfits. Same root. The questions we don't like to say out loud:

Am I enough yet?
Is it enough yet?
Is this it?

Why I had to write it

In 2021, I walked out of a football stadium in a yellow poncho, mascara running down my face, through a sea of 50,000 strangers.

I thought I was walking out of my marriage.

It turned out I didn't have the capacity to do anything but survive. And what I was really walking into was the most important work of my life: the journey back to myself.

Our marriage survived, and it's the healthiest it's ever been. I've learned the skills to thrive, not only get through the day.

Along the way, I became obsessed with one question. Why do some people stay stuck, while others make it to the other side and rise?

Turns out real change follows a very clear pattern. That pattern is the method I wrote into Chasing Enough.

Here's the part I won't sugarcoat. If you want real change in your life, you have to be willing to look at the thing that makes you uncomfortable. If you're not ready to do that, you're not ready for this book.

But if you're clear that you want something to change, you're going to love it. I wrote it as a guide, a manual and a map to the other side.

What readers are saying this week

"I got one chapter into the audio book and realized I needed the physical copy to write notes in. I can’t wait to see who I become on the other side of this. More importantly who I become to the people I lead and the impact I’ll create leading from full."

"I feel like everything on my shoulders lifted and my heart feels light and free. This was the permission I didn’t know I needed. “

My friend ( and my former therapist ) Gemma Stone, a guide who has walked beside me through parts of this story, wrote this to her email list this week:

"There's a seductive, subconscious promise that lives inside many high-achieving humans: Once I get there, I'll finally feel like I've done enough. I'll feel like I AM enough. Except there is a small problem with there. It moves."

"There is a world of difference between: I want to create this because something in me feels wildly alive when I do, and I need to create this because I am hoping it will finally prove something about me. Same desire. Sometimes the same achievement. But on the inside? Completely different."

"There is something sacred about watching someone turn the shadows they have wrestled into a lantern for someone else."

- Gemma Stone

I'm not asking you to hand your ambition back

This is not a book about wanting less. I've never wanted less, and I'm guessing you don't either.

It's about wanting more and paying less for it.

Done with the chase doesn't mean done. You still want the big thing. You stop needing it to prove something about you.

On the other side of the chase is more in the bank and more peace than I've ever known. Bigger stages. More energy for the people I'm doing it all for. A life I'm present for, not only one I'm building.

My vision for us: love letters from the future

You write down what you did, not just what's left.
You set the boundary instead of swallowing the resentment.
You choose enough for today instead of borrowing from tomorrow's pressure.
You change the language. You stop shoulding on yourself.

We stop shrinking. We show up in our full power. We lead better. We protect our time. We own our worth.

Choose more. Chase less. Keep the edge. Lose the grind.
